Dr. Kathy Svoboda recently was selected as the recipient of the American Association of Anatomists’ 2014 A.J. Ladman Exemplary Service Award. As part of the award, given to members who are distinguished in anatomical sciences and have provided extensive service to the association, Svoboda has been asked to present a lecture on April 29, 2014, during the organization’s annual meeting in San Diego. She will receive a plaque and $1,000 honorarium, which will be presented during the association’s award banquet, also on April 29.
