Dallas-area students give back to dental school with donations to two programs
On April 12, the Future Dentist Club contributed funds to two Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry programs. The club’s members, ranging from fourth- through 12th-graders, donated $250 toward the pediatric dentistry department’s Musick Fund.
They also donated $250 to the public health sciences department’s Social Services Fund, which coordinates subsidized care for patients. The donation was made in honor of Dr. Stephen Crane, associate professor, who leads labs and activities with the students during their monthly meetings at TAMBCD.
The Future Dentist Club is a part of the college’s comprehensive Bridge to Dentistry pipeline program.
