What you love most about working with your students:

“Nurturing my students. I want to encourage, guide and support them to be the best that they can be in their dental hygiene profession. I feel it is very important to educate them with my knowledge in a compassionate, patient and respectful manner that will hopefully follow them throughout their careers. My hope is that when they graduate they will leave our dental hygiene program as well-rounded individuals who will treat all patients with the respect they deserve.”

What students have to say:

“Ms. Pearson is an amazing clinic instructor. She goes above and beyond to educate us and our patients about improving oral health and preventing oral diseases. I am so fortunate to have learned from her!”

— Marley Homrighausen, DH2

“Ms. Pearson is truly a special component of the dental hygiene program. The students always look forward to having her in clinic. As an instructor, she goes above and beyond to give each student constructive feedback with additional tips on how to become better. Personally, I will never forget her encouraging words and clinic sessions that made all the difference in becoming the clinician I am today.”

— Dulce Ramirez, DH2

“Ms. Pearson is an awesome instructor. It was a pleasure working with her in clinic. She is very kind and supportive. She could always encourage us to focus on the positive and not the negative, and I am so thankful to have had her as one of my instructors.”
