Dr. H. Eldon Attaway, Class of 1954
Dr. H. Eldon Attaway, an alumnus and clinical associate professor who served the Department of Orthodontics for more than 50 years, passed away Dec. 19. Recently colleagues recognized Attaway’s contributions with the H. Eldon Attaway Award for Excellence in Teaching. He served as a part-time faculty member until the week of his passing, switching to volunteer status in 2013.
A memorial service was Dec. 23 at First United Methodist Church in Irving, Texas, followed by interment at the Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Baylor Oral Health Foundation, noting H. Eldon Attaway Scholarship Fund on the memo line.
