Dr. Radina Petkova, Class of 2012
The Texas Academy of General Dentistry recently recognized 2012 alumna Dr. Radina Petkova with its Fellowship Award during the Academy of General Dentistry’s annual session in Boston.
Petkova, who was born in Asenovgrad, Bulgaria, and moved to Dallas as a teenager, now practices dentistry at the Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Center in Bonham, Texas, and volunteers to provide free dental care to the uninsured through Texas Mission of Mercy. Petkova is a member of the AGD, TAGD, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
The AGD Fellowship Award is presented to dentists who seek to provide the highest quality dental care by remaining current in their profession. To accomplish this goal, Petkova completed 500 hours of dental continuing education, passed a comprehensive written exam and fulfilled three years of continuous membership in the AGD.
