Glickman to help determine national board exam of the future

April 4th, 2017

Starting in 2020, the national board exam for dental students will look strikingly different from what is used today. That’s because basic, behavioral and clinical sciences will be integrated within the up-and-coming exam. It’s all part of the American Dental Association’s Joint Commission on National Dental Examinations’ new approach to assessing entry-level competency in the profession.

In April, Texas A&M College of Dentistry’s Dr. Gerald Glickman, endodontics department head, began a term on the commission’s Integrated National Board Dental Examination test construction committee, lending his endodontics expertise in the Practice and Profession Group.
