Lopez receives Community Health Charities volunteer award

Pat Lopez, regional human resources director, was presented with the 2014 Volunteer of the Year Award from Community Health Charities, which unites workplace donors with health charities by coordinating employee giving programs.
Lopez received the award during the organization’s annual meeting in Crystal City, Va., for her service as chair of the Texas Affiliate of Community Health Charities from 2006 to 2010, during which time Texas workplace giving campaigns increased by $1.7 million in gifts to member charities. She has served in several other leadership roles for Community Health Charities, including the group’s national board of directors.
