The GRACE luncheon—Gathering Respectfully to Appreciate Compassionate Employees—says it all for Texas A&M College of Dentistry students as they give back to the staff members who support their education day in and day out. The annual luncheon was first launched in 2012 by members of the Student National Dental Association.

“Every single student, in some way or another, is a part of this,” says Ashly Okoli, GRACE organizer as the SNDA special events chair. “There’s enthusiasm from all of the different organizations. The entire school comes together.”

Those participating in the luncheon—which featured roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, cake and a plethora of drinks—included SNDA, Muslim Student Dental Association, Hispanic Student Dental Association, American Student Dental Association, Asian American Dental Society, Xi Psi Phi, Delta Sigma Delta, Psi Omega, DH1-DH2 classes, D1-D4 classes and faculty.
