Miles for Smiles April 1
It’s no April Fool’s joke! The 2023 Miles for Smiles event is Saturday, April 1, at Exall Park. In addition to the traditional partnership between Texas A&M School of Dentistry and UT Dallas, this year’s walk-a-thon will also feature an Easter egg hunt hosted by Dallas Parks & Recreation.
Miles for Smiles is an annual fundraiser hosted by the UT Dallas Pre-Dental Association. People are invited to come walk or run to raise money for Texas A&M School of Dentistry’s social services dental care fund. The event is a tradition going back to 2009, aside from a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Miles for Smiles returned last year in April 2022, raising roughly $9,500.
Join the fun 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. next Saturday! In addition to the walk and egg hunt, there will also be field day games, raffles and other activities.
