A “Mock Congress” debate scheduled for Dec. 2 will help shed light on the legislative process by illustrating how a bill is passed through Congress. The Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry chapter of the American Student Dental Association is hosting the event for students, faculty and staff in order to create an awareness about law creation and to show students how they can have a voice in issues that impact the dental profession.
Second-year dental student Laura Albarracin will play the role of madam speaker, while third-year dental student Stephanie Ganter will act as a representative opposed to the bill. Neema Dad, also a third-year dental student, will act as the representative in favor of the bill.
