Restorative sciences faculty member completes ADEA/AAL course

For dentists transitioning from private practice to education, the American Dental Education Association/AAL (Aspire Achieve Lead) Institute for Teaching and Learning offers an invaluable resource.
Dr. Stephen McDonald, assistant professor in restorative sciences, recently completed the two-phase, 50-hour course consisting of class meetings, long-distance discussion and small-group projects tailored to dental educators starting their academic careers.
McDonald returns to his role at the college with hands-on training in course planning, teaching methods, performance evaluation, learning styles, critical thinking and more.
