More than a century of smiles
Dental school celebrates 118th anniversary

Texas A&M School of Dentistry celebrated 118 years of service on Oct. 3. Founded in 1905 as State Dental College, the school has undergone many changes but has always remained committed to quality education and community service.
The day also marked one year under the leadership of current dean, Dr. Lily T. García.
“It’s nice to see everyone in a celebratory mood,” she said. “People are enjoying each other’s company and reinforcing the culture we’ve built here.”
